Hi,
Yes, this is a known issue and we have it as part of the plan to improve the moderation features. We don't have a time commitment at this time and we understand the impact it has not being able to access deleted or marked as spam comments.
Thanks

Inappropriate? At this moment we don't have such a functionality, unfortunately.
As a workaround you can retype a comment deleted by mistake by yourself on the same page. -

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you deleted some important information, in any case we can provide the comments data so that you will be able to re-post it. -
I wish there was a way to get back the comment marked as spam. Though, it was a rude comment I need to reply to it.
Thanks

Inappropriate? With an obscene and abusive comment, I felt I needed to delete it and ban the user - and possibly mark it as spam. However, deleting it stopped me from doing any of the others. I probably did something wrong, but it wasn't obvious which to do first :-(
I’m frustrated

You should ban users first and delete a comment after, as far as a comment deletion is not reversible (I mean you will not be able to access this deleted comment from admin dashboard or on a page with comments directly). So you should find another posts of this user and ban him/her by moderating another comment, or wait for further posts from the same user to be able to moderate again. -
Banning a user also deletes the message, which appears sensible, except that I can't then feed the message into the spam filter.
